note that, making a Gantt chart based directly on the issue tracker unfortunately feels non-trivial right now:

  • weighted issues seems in PR still
  • gitea/forgejo seem to not yet offer progress bars for say milestones yet. right now we mostly use (hierarchically structured) issues. these support progress bars based on manually curated checkboxes, but that seems a bit more frail.

We can rename the workpackage I guess, but we can't remove past items since they have been done.

Also renaming existing items is really confusing, we we want things changed just add new deliverable identifiers

I recommend simplifying this to just the three stages (and possibly subdividing them if needed, but rather not): implementation, outreach, productive sample applications. Also as discussed, past work should stay in place because that already happened anyway.

given now bars got removed, i presume this is about the UX item i'd wholesale greyed out - that one i reinstated now.

I recommend simplifying this to just the three stages

i tried these now, tho outreach sounds less like a phase, while the other two seem tangled up as well.. maybe not what they wanted to see? alternatively, drop this distinction too? 😶😅
