we used to have a Debian-based proxmox supplied by ProcoliX, which has since died from a hardware failure.
having switched to incus now, which is in nixpkgs, we should get that as part of our infra now, leaving TODO:

get new hardware for this (#954)
add to infra: incus (#885)
